Everyone has a chance to perform on the Tabor Opera House stage at the Leadville Boom Days Talent Show on Saturday, Aug. 5, 2023. This event is open to all ages, with different scoring categories and prizes for each age group. Winners will receive prizes valued at $100, $50, and $25 for first, second, and third place. Leadville local Glenda Dunn will serve as a judge.
Anyone who would like to participate should sign up at the Tabor directly after the Boom Days parade, from 11:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. on Aug. 5. Participation is first-come first-served until full.
Everyone is welcome to join the audience and cheer on the talented participants. The first 10 students/groups and first 10 adults/groups will perform from 1:05 p.m. – 2:50 p.m. Awards and prizes will follow.
This event is part of Leadville’s annual mining heritage festival, happening Aug. 4-6, 2023. Leadville Boom Days features burro races, mining contests, a big parade, kids’ activities, a large food and craft fair, and much more. Learn more at LeadvilleBoomDays.org.
